Alternating sheer and solid bands on one continuous loop — tune a room from filtered light to near-solid privacy without raising the blind.
One blind, two moods
Day & night blinds — also called zebra blinds — run alternating sheer and solid horizontal bands on a single loop. Align the bands and light filters through softly; offset them and the window goes near-solid. It's the current favourite for living rooms, dining rooms and studies, and it earns its keep on Waverley's street-facing windows in particular: you get to keep an eye on the garden and the street through the day, then close the bands down for privacy once the lights go on inside, without a heavier blockout blind shutting the room off completely.
The look is clean and contemporary, and the fabric range runs from light-filtering through to semi-blockout bands, so the same product can lean casual or formal depending on what the room needs. It's worth being straight about the limits, too: even fully offset, day & night fabric isn't true blockout — light still seeps at the band edges — so a main bedroom that needs proper dark is better served by a blockout roller or a layered combination of the two.
