What we are, in one plain paragraph

Waverley Blinds is a measuring, quoting and fitting service for made-to-measure blinds and shading, working in Waverley and the suburbs on its border — Houghton Estate, Saxonwold, Melrose and Birdhaven. Nothing is held in stock sizes. Approve it and the order goes into production, then an installer fits, levels and tests every unit.

Do you really offer a free measure and quote?

Yes — a consultant measures every window on-site and leaves you with a written, itemised quote. There's no cost and no obligation to go ahead.

Are your blinds safe for a home with small children?

Cord and chain tensioners are fitted as standard, and cordless or motorised control removes hanging cords entirely. Ask about child-safe options for any room when you enquire.

Do you fit blinds and awnings, or just supply them?

Both. Everything is made to measure and fitted by an installer, who checks operation and finishes before signing off the job.

Can motorised blinds still work during load-shedding?

Battery-powered motors keep working through a power cut, since they charge separately from the mains. Worth raising if you're motorising more than a room or two.

Do you only do indoor blinds, or outdoor shading too?

Both — roller, venetian and day/night blinds indoors, plus folding-arm awnings, roller shutters and zip screens for patios and outdoor rooms.
